Hello, I'm Lylia!
I'm offering private violin lessons in Alameda, Bay Farm.
I'm a professional classical trained violinist and I strongly believe in music education. One of the many benefits I find important in learning an instrument is self-esteem. I love to accompany my students in their pursuit of excellence and watch them smile as they master their own work.
Music has this amazing ability to bring people together. I strive to maintain a creative environment that fosters love for music.
As a member of the American String Teachers Association, I participate in different workshops and offer my students the option to obtain a certification if interested.
I perform throughout the Bay Area as a soloist, orchestra member and chamber musician. If you're looking to hire musicians for your next event (e.g. wedding or a corporate event) I'll be happy to help!

Accepting new students!
I love to play and teach different kinds of music, whether it's classical, jazz, pop or country. Depending on the student's interest, I can draw music from traditional methods, the Suzuki books or other folks books. My main focus is to provide a fun, loving and safe learning environment while transmitting a lifelong love of music based on a solid technique.
I provide at least one recital and one studio class per year where students have a chance to play for their families and friends. It's a great way to perfect their piece and it gives me the chance to honor their effort.
Rates: $45 for 30mn, $70 for 45mn, $90 for 1 hour.
